for someone who plays both, thats a really good video. im mostly on your side on many points. for example, Imho the gunplay and utility usage feels so much better in cs. and the fact that i can buy a skin i wanna try out and just resell it to get something else is just hella dope! In valo i would have to buy all the skins i wanna try out. ( which i technically did, riot got alota money from me) + the animations and stuff are too distracting. i definitely love the stickers approach in cs waaay more since it lets you personalize your guns so much more^^

I actually played the campaign again tonight as it is war memorial day here in The Netherlands. And I was astounded by how amazing the campaign looked. Especially since this game is eight years old this year and in many aspects looks superior and more realistic than the later games.

In 4:3 when people swing you it will be faster than 16:9 plus as a 1024x768 player shooting from distance is much harder and its much harder to deal with swings. I have a 1366x768 monitor and as a low end gamer the frames don’t differ too much (very minimal). The only benefit you get is maybe more hz as if i play on 1024x768 im able to play at 75hz and if im native im at 60hz. Overall i would say stick to native.

For Honor is a good one for this discussion I don’t mind losing, even when I get super frustrated, I still have it in me to admit that I just got outplayed (even if it was just straight up light spam, maybe I just need to learn how to read my opponent and parry the lights) Getting killed by the enemy doesn’t make me mad What makes me mad is that we were fighting, one on one, and right when shit went south, the enemy runs off to heal, their teammate jumps in, and right as I’m finally getting damage on their teammate, BOOM, in comes the first person I was fighting and now I’m dead and getting teabagged “Oh they just outplayed you, they played smart” I agree that it’s tactical, I agree that if they wanted to survive, they did the smart thing and ran away The thing that gets to me is that it’s a medieval fighting game, full of potential epic moments and badass fights…and you just ruin it, you ruin the tension, the suspense, the epic final stand you could make, by running and waiting for your teammate to do what you couldn’t Quit running, and fight me already, it’s a fighting game and you aren’t even fighting, you’re just avoiding conflicts because you know you’ll lose I don’t run, I stand my ground until death, because that keeps the game interesting, that keeps me invested in how the fight will play out, nothing is more disappointing than a suspenseful moment, a moment where we reach the climax of the battle, being ended by my opponent saying screw this and running like a bitch Imagine if instead of powering up, an anime protagonist just dips because the villain started beating their ass, HOW DISAPPOINTING WOULD THAT BE Or the teams that just group up for the whole game, and attack only as a group, ganking enemies non stop, nothing but ganks “It’s a legitimate strategy” I KNOW IT’S A LEGITIMATE STRATEGY, I’M NOT COMPLAINING BECAUSE IT’S UNFAIR, I’M COMPLAINING BECAUSE IT’S DISAPPOINTING No epic 1v1s, no epic final stands, no battles over zones, NOTHING, just a group beating the shit out of a lone fighter And people tell me that if I want a duel so badly, why don’t I just play duels? DLC map packs was better than lootboxes. Think about how much development time is pissed away on useless shit. The story/mechanics/etc suffer. Expansion packs from the early 2000s was my favorite implementation. In modern times, Skyrim did this best.

Honestly, even though I play Valorant rn, My first FPS game is CSGO, and I love both Valorant and CS. And I adore both games as both have their own special perks.
